Employment

Chino Valley Unified School District serves over 32,500 students K-12 and nearly 4,000 adult school students, providing all of them with a rigorous and relevant education in a safe learning environment.

The District serves students throughout the cities of Chino, Chino Hills, and southern Ontario, as well as unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County.  Students attend schools in the following configuration.

·        20 elementary schools

·        2 K-8 school

·        5 junior high schools

·        5 high schools

·        1 alternative schools

·        Adult School

All of our high schools have earned accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (“WASC”).  Each high school boasts a rich offering of Advanced Placement (“AP”), Visual and Performing Arts (“VAPA”), and vocational courses, as well as a wide variety of core academic course options.  Invigorated staff members prepare our graduates to enter the University of California and California State University systems of higher education, join the armed forces, or directly enter the workforce as confident young men and women who can make immediate contributions.

Our outstanding schools garner recognition on the national and state levels.  Most recently, the U. S. Department of Education awarded Country Springs Elementary School the coveted distinction - National Blue Ribbon - for its high level of achievement.  Additionally, the California Department of Education recognized Rhodes Elementary School, Wickman Elementary School, and Canyon Hills Junior High School as California Distinguished Schools for their success in serving all students.

The District actively recruits outstanding applicants who desire to join a team committed to understanding and serving the changing needs of our students and communities.

Supporting 2,900 dedicated staff members, the District promotes equal employment opportunity.  The District's policies prohibit unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, gender, age, religion, national origin, marital status, veteran status, or disability.  Persons who need an accommodation in order to participate in the selection process should request this in advance.
